This Cookie Policy explains how bodyevolutionwarfighter LLC, doing business as Empire Gym (“Empire Gym,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar tools on our website, https://joinempiregym.com (the “Site”). Please read it with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal information you give us.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites also use similar tools: local and session storage (data saved in your browser), embedded services from other companies, and session recording. In this policy we call all of them “cookies.”

2. Your Choices

• How it works: When you first visit, a notice tells you about these tools. After a few seconds it tucks into a cookie icon at the bottom of the page, next to the chat button; tap it to see the notice again. Analytics and functional tools are on unless you turn them off. Marketing tools stay off unless you turn them on.
• Change your mind any time: Use Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page, or the button below. If you choose Reject, we stop our analytics and session recording in this browser and delete the analytics cookies we set.
• Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject for that browser, unless you later turn tools back on in Cookie Settings. Browsers do not agree on what “Do Not Track” means, so we follow Global Privacy Control instead.
• Where your choice is kept: In your browser only. If you clear your browser data or use another device, you will be asked again.
• Our record of your choice: Each time you choose, we save a record of it: a random ID, what you chose, the date, this policy’s version, and your country and state. We keep it for up to 25 months to show we followed your choice. It does not include your name, email, phone number, or IP address.

4. Session Recording

With analytics on, PostHog records how pages are used: clicks, scrolling, and moving between pages. We watch these recordings to find parts of the Site that are hard to use. Before anything leaves your browser:

• Everything you type into a form is hidden.
• Your name on the booking confirmation page is hidden.
• The contents of forms you send us are never recorded.

Recordings are kept for 30 days. Only our team and PostHog, as our service provider, can see them. To stop session recording, choose Reject or turn off Analytics in Cookie Settings.

5. Measurement on Our Own Server

When you send a form (for example, booking a No Sweat Blueprint), our own server notes that it happened, such as “a booking was made” and which program it was for. We send that note to PostHog so we can count bookings correctly. It never includes your name, email, phone number, or what you wrote. It uses no cookies on your device. If analytics is on, the note is linked to your visit’s random ID; if it is off, it is not.

6. Other Companies’ Tools

Some tools on the Site come from other companies. They may set their own cookies when you use them. We do not control those cookies; please read each company’s policy:

• PostHog (analytics and session recording): PostHog privacy policy. PostHog traffic goes through our own domain.
• Cloudflare (website hosting and the Turnstile spam check): Cloudflare privacy policy.
• LeadConnector / HighLevel (our customer messaging and forms: web chat, waiver, and intake forms): HighLevel privacy policy.
• Google (the map on our Visit and Contact pages, and Google Analytics): Google privacy policy.

Our Join Online buttons take you to Gym Insight, which runs our online sign-up and payments on its own website. Gym Insight and any other site we link to have their own cookies and policies.

To opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.

7. Controlling Cookies in Your Browser

Your browser can block or delete cookies. If you block all cookies, the Site still works, but some parts may not: the map, web chat, and the waiver and intake forms all rely on other companies’ tools.

8. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when the tools on the Site change, and change the date at the top. When the list of tools changes, the cookie notice appears again so you can review your choice. A choice to turn something off stays off.
